higher pitch after pulley

hi, i recently changed my 320i (PFL) to UUC pulley kit....the first thing i notice is really the higher pitch sound from transmission....on idle in the cockpit, it just sound different....the low torque is marginally improved....

maybe i am sensitive, but does others hear what i heard?...

You mean the crank pulley? I thought that's where the manufacturer designed harmonic balancer is?
Maybe that techie Shawn guy can shed some light on this subject. I am aware that the balancer is required for engine longevity so that the engine internals does not vibrate itself to bits off the crankshaft.

oh well, maybe i am just too sensitive...after 3 days, i think those sound i heard are quite normal...
