Hi Guys,

Thinking of selling my very well-maintain ride .... please help to give your advice.

I have an accident-free Sept 2005 registered E60 523i, with:

1) Full M-Aero Kit done by PML
2) Original M Wing Mirror
3) Original 19inch M5 Rims with runflat tyres (3months old)
4) Mileage less than 15,000km
5) HIOP Tuned
6) Sprint-Booster installed
7) H&R Sway bar installed
8) 8000k HID Bulb
9) Glare protection from day 1
10) Oil Changed at J4C every 5000km

How much can I fetch if sell directly to PML or buddies here?

May be posted for overseas assignment and may need to let go soon..... sob...sob.....

Thanks for your interest.

Think the M-Wing Mirror really commands lots of interest. You are probably the 3rd person who asked me to sell the M Wing separately.

Think it's fair to let go the whole car with the M Wing unless the buyer don't want it (which is quite unlikely). I have actually kept my original side mirrors after changing to the M wing. But will see how the deal proceeds...

Anybody interested in a superbly well-kept, and one of the most complete "tuned" 523i in Singapore?

Total damage so far is more than $200k. Willing to let go to a real car lover who appreciates the value....

And thanks to all the bros here who gave me your kind advice on the possible sale of my car.

Will need to check again on the tenure of my overseas assignment. May not be worth it to sell. If can't find buyers who appreciate the value and the mods, will probably keep it.

Total spending on the car + mods is greater than $200k, and it is almost quite complete (left lowering, suspension systems, exhaust). If sell now, will not have chance to mod further! :laughlik:

My 523i still available.... in fact, it is now parked in my condo carpark while I am in Taipei.

I am flying in and out of Singapore every week and only drive it around during weekends to warm the car.

Car is in tiptop condition and still thinking of whether to sell. Quote me your best price and I will let go if the price is right!

I think you must realize that mods to cars do not necessarily equate to increase in sales price. You'll get a little extra, but certainly nothing like the $ you spent on it.

You will also lose each year's COE value even if it sits around parked at home, plus you need to keep it taxed and insured.

Your heart says keep it but your head should tell you to sell, even at slightly above stock 523 second hand price. Your problem is to find a buyer willing to pay the extra $$ who will then invariably lose that extra himself when he resells later. There are limited buyers out there.

Good luck in your choice, whatever that may be.
