Hit and Run

Re: Hit and Run

don't agree. D8 already entered into his lane and the taxi being the way they are, think they can cut into any lane without checking the blind spot.

Errr.... Sorry bro, but I think you should have gone onto the right-most lane. Don't think the taxi was in the wrong...

If 3 lanes turning left onto 6 lanes, shouldn't it be like this:

.... Lane 1 ....|..... Lane 2 ....................|.... Lane 3 ....
left | straight | straight | straight + right | right | right

So taxi from lane 2 going to "straight + right" seems correct leh....

Wrong. This turning rule is covered in basic theory or advanced theory. One should always keep to own lane number after turning. ie: lane 1 goes to lane 1, lane 2 goes to lane 2, etc. so the taxi should turn to lane 2 first then filter to the right instead and not cut directly to the right immediately like what most drivers do

Re: Hit and Run

yup, basic theory is all turn to own lane, then after that filter onto turning lanes, but most cabbies and heavy vehicles tend to violate such rules because they dont give a s**t about their rides, and they know that side impact is 50/50.

so pls do be careful, even with in-car cam, unless the joker side swipe u front rear side, its very very hard to claim 100% in side impact. (do refer to tp website for these data, stated clearly on their website side-case is 50/50)

cheers and have a safe drive!
