just flew back from goldcoast with Scoot, yes im cheapo. And yes, i agreed with Denise Ho
- book airticket on sep 2012 to travel on jun 2013 with family of 11pax ( almost a yr advance booking) , but nov 2012 wife preggy,
call and write in to postpone trip to nov 2013, didnt get back to me until 2 mths later in feb 2013 asking for the Medical cert ,ok i give immediately, than another month later , they wanted all copies NRIC and BIRTHCERT
of all 11 pax to proof our relationship. Provided them everything they wanted immediately (I even added in a family photo we took on 2013 CNY ), than another month later send me another email saying my brother birthcert in Malay,pls translate ....faintz..after 4mth we are still at this stage ?? despite constant calling and emailling ( forwarded to their bastard CEO campbell wilson)still no use .I Wana go to office to bang table, but no office in singapore, must die die talk to those pinoy call centre who changes everytime i call in than repeating story again and again . den Finally say we have to pay for the fare difference .CCB,
if they have responded earlier, fare difference would be minimal. So no choice, balance family member went ahead on Jun 2013 without me,my wife and 4yr old daughter .NO choice I accepted their fare increment for the 3 of us to
postpone to nov 2013...than best part,still wana charge me admin fee 150 for me and daughter. CCB
- at check in counter ( going to goldcoast) , told the PRC (yes its a PRC) that i wanted 3 of us ( me,wife,daughter) to sit together, he say ok "no problem"..than on board plane, discovered he did gave us 3 seats on the same ROW but guess what...im seperated by the ISLE from my wife and daughter ,which means my kid cldnt lie down n sleep ( those with kid will know its very important to have that ). Spoke nicely to the crew if we could sit at those premium seats ( those with more leg room) cuz doter getting cranky...she no..must pay extra...and those seats are empty for the whole journey...
- ask for hot water to prep milk, this malaysian chinese aircrew say cannot, must wait until take off, we waited until took off and seat belt sign off...ask her again, say will get back to me..and never come back to us...bobian i DIY walk all the way to pantry to get it .
- coming back from Goldcoast, spore guy sitting infront of me rented scoot ipad to watch movie, set is faulty, from taking off till the end of fight ( 7.5hrs) he totally asked 4 crew for help, each and everyone say will get back to him...but didnt , so 1hr before landing, he got up, walk to the back and demand refund, not sure he got it or not...i really respect him for his patience..
-during landing time, plane rumbles abit when touching ground ,a top compartment opened. This indian crew was sitting right infront with sit belt on ...she took a look at it and thats it ,didnt bother to stand up to close it or inform the angmor below who dosent know its open. She just sat down looking at it as the plane kept rolling towards the gate....and finally another guy stood up and close it .
Final words, this is really a make shift budget airline with no proper training for all their staffs and customer satisfaction comes last in their agenda... I will only take scoot if there are really no other alternatives next time...
