Hot and cold air from different vent?

Hi, anyone experience this?

My is 2001 318, there are 4 air con vent and 2 are blowing hot air, the other are blowing cool air.

Any idea the cost of repair? and where is the best workshop to go?

if the hot air u are referring to is coming from the bottom vents (leg vents), then i think it's normal cos my 03 318 is also doing that. just switch to the face vents mode.

the hot air is from the upper vent, the left and right that's nearest to the driver.

Set the temp to below 20 degree. try and see . my 318 cut away the hot air with this setting.

check your aircon gas.. its probably low on gas n hence the left n right have diff temp output.. get the aircon specialist to take out all the old gas n pump in fresh one together with the fresh aircon compressor lubricating oil.. there should be 740ml plus minus 25ml.. anything less than 250ml will have that effect that u describe..
