As the title goes...how did you choose or get your nickname?

Mine is just my name, so i don't really count. How about yours?

Mine, I deal with Radiation, thus RAD. RADON is a radioactive substance....so that's it..and 39 is my car make...E39

saifywaify was a nickname my gf back in sec sch gave me. since then, i've been saifywaify everywhere on various forums, email addresses, etc.

contrary to wot many thinks....i dun buy toto religiously. heck i dun even gamble.... my wife created an email account for me many years ago call toto@blahblahblah. seow is partner of my chinese name.

I valet park at the Fullerton... the valet guys used to greet me "Good Morning Mr Fifty Five" when they did not know my name years earlier.

So when the need for a nick came about... I thought why not.. easy to remember and identify.

I used to be really crazy about DC Talk. So my nickname was motivated by one of their songs

Puny is my gaming nick in Quake, then Quake2. I used it because it's less aggressive (haha, overstatement) and people tend to not want to frag me - or perhaps it's the other way around. It's easier to start small and work my way up through things. It's also easier to remember.

Joseph's my name, hence Joseph And Wife (wifey name starts with "W" anyway) and "Z" last alphabet, is like "forever".. "sg" no need to describe lah.. hence Jawzsg. Hard to pronounce isn't it?

think alot of ppl know the reason a long time ago..haha,here have smart ppl..

rex7_vtec cause I used to own the bugeye wrx, it was the version 7 thus rex7.

I added vtec cause I owned a integra type r shortly before I sold the rex.

So rex7_vtec comes about

While I was registering to join BMW-SG, my brother was beside eating some chicken. He kept saying "wah, chickenbackside damn shiok man!".

My name is Alex, just bought a Z4 and just added Z behind.

But I did not pay attention when registering here, I thought it will be my username and there will be another field to add a nickname. Hope to change this to my usual nick, Lt Zaku.
