Usually, if breakdown, the Plus breakdown truck will help you tow to the nearest toll point.

To avoid future issues, try "Run Flat" tyres. They should still run for a while to the workshop, when punctured.

I don't have workshop numbers across state in NSHW, just call Plus highway patrol, they will help you. And correct, get ready to wait...long long.

I'm on 295/30/20, normal jacks cannot go under-carriage, so take note of this. My last time I was lucky to have a wood block nearby, I drove on top of the wood block to increase some height in order to be able to jack up my car.

As I drove a lot in NSHW to KL, I recommend those with kids and family on-board to have basic repair kit in the car. Imagine stuck on NSHW, with young kids.

Always check your tires and spot for any suspicions in the tire pressure before moving off.

If you suspect that there is a leak, drive at max 70km/h to the nearest petrol pump to fill up the tire and continue your journey to the nearest tire shop to get it fix.

If there is a nail, normally air will not leak so rapidly unless is is at the side wall. Avoid hard breaking so as to prevent unnecessary pressure on the tires.

A little extra effort can save you lots of stress and pressure.

If total flat, no choice but to call tow truck.

Re: How do you deal with a flat tire without a spare tire?

Hi,
i am new to this forum. The E60 has a run flat kit which conssists of a tyre, jack and a wrench. Nicely fitted and will sit in the wheel well under the boot floor(if this is not occupied by the battery).
You could try to buy a new one $700 or get one second hand.$350-400 used.

Hi Bros,

I always bring along an electrical pump in my boot in case of simple flats. This got me out of several situations in the past.
Just plug into the cig outlet and start the pump. I bought this for both my cars at accessory shops.

Cheers.

Any brand will do the job? I mean inflate the tyre.
