Top 93 is one of the place i am going to visit.... Their forge rims look good but I dont know how good it will be to my pocket...

I am going for 19", no spacer.. Staggered with non-RFTs.

Another brand I am considering is VMR, either the V10 or VB3.

My fav rims are the 19" M5 rims... but Munich Auto selling them at $6K+ including RFTs...

Not going for bodykit as mine came with the M-kit and I sort of like it...

Normal maintenance part. Especially if near 100,000 km mileage. Gearbox must watch out, try do ATF flush n oil gasket change at right time. Cheers bro. Sharing from a junior point of view. Other senior bros can top up knowledge. Ac323 bro here is part time consultant

How about VMR V710. Love the looks heee. There's a few new design at top93 not bad. Can c their BC rims too u will be badly poison there hahaha enjoy modding !

As the self proclaimed resident E60 expert, please note the following in no particular order:-

1. Gearbox
2. Power steering
3. Suspension/shocks
4. Control arm and bushings
5. Aircon compressor
6. Radiator/ oil gasket leak


depending on age of the car, most likely aircon compressor will go 1st, followed by gearbox erratic behaviour..the rest are wear and tear and also see how u drive. If u drive like a maniac, then ur brakes and suspension and control arm will go fast

Opps... its the V710 I am keen.. not V10.. hahahaha.... wife prefers M5... my pocket dont prefer that at all...

Honestly i think all cars have their own sets of inherent problems.

Oil gasket leaks etc. like my E90 320i before it had this problem.

So far my 2008 E60 LCI hasn't given me any issues since i bought it last month (keeping fingers X, touch wood hahahha) but i believe proper vehicle servicing and maintenance should limit the onset of major problems.

Of course not to mention wear and tear items which cannot be avoided if the car is already in use for a couple of years.

Sometimes i believe it is also luck because i do hear experiences of bros with new rides who goes in to visit the 'doctor' regularly because of many minor nagging issues.

Just my 2 cents.

What about ride comfort? worse off or better.... I read that the run flats are heavy and hard... so changing to non RFs should improve comfort level..

what about spare wheels? did you had a set in your car??

Actually the spare tyre in my ride is already a 17" tyre. so i didn't buy a spare tyre.

Yes comfort wise it should improve over the RFTs. However it depends also if you are going for low profile tyres or the comfort tyres with thicker rims.

Low profile tyres will experience some degree of road noise and of course comfort level will be compromised. But on the other hand you get that cool and chio look on your ride hahahaha
