Luckily my soon to be in-laws don't stay in Singapore!! :woowooo:

That was also one of the deciding factor for my current car. I had reach a point where the deciding factor would be base on what I want and not on the compromise which I have to consider.....

Put my hard earn money to pamper myself rather than make "free riders" in the rear happy.

"That isn't what in-laws say "

Your response: "Dad! Mum! Thank you so much for buying me a new car! Really, you shouldn't have, you know.....but I'll take mine in black with red leather, thanks!"

Not completely true.

A 2-door car is one that you can own while you're still relatively young and also later on when your kids have flown the nest. My elder brother who is in his fifties changed from his BMW E39 to a Merc CLK because his kids have gone overseas for studies and mostly, he drives alone. I can foresee myself having a nice 2-door to drive around in my sunset years, but perhaps by then I won't need to have a powerful engine.

Oh absolutely! I'm sure anyone at any age would enjoy a nice 2-door. :) My point is that if you can afford it, do it earlier!

Cheers
