silverbeam - no Rain-X polish. I sent it back to PML since its under warranty and they claim to use special polish to remove any residue on the windscreen. Did not work after several attempts. That's why I am looking for other solution. Getting tried of sending the car to PML already - 6 times in 4 months.
Newredbug - thanks. will try old newspaper this weekend and will scrub like cray as suggested. You think Today or Striat Times works better?

The window squeak occurs when the upper window frame 'rubs' against the door frame it contacts when close. Gelling it with silicon spray lubes it, problem re occur when the substance wears out or dries. Putting on the tape (if done correctly) snugs the door to frame fit thus eliminatinf 'free play' = No squeaks.

congrats on the silence! haha.. i was highly irritated by it, even though my wife says she din notice..
previously, a workshop sprayed the 3M silicon on it, but it did not work..
will try ows when the rattles return.. thanx for the great lobang..

Followed the instruction on Sunday and the squek is gone (maybe its also because I use Today newspaper as newredbug suggested). Have to test it under heavy rain then I will report on the result.
The irony here is that I was told to remove silicon from the windscreen and you guys are spraying silicon on the windows. So we want silicon on wondows but not on front windscreen, right? If so, I hope the bros that bought the silicon spray does not starting coating the windscreen with silicon.

The silicon gel is for the door frame not for the window per se. I would spray the silicon on the body side of the door frame, the part where ur door when closed would meet ( See fat_burner's post) - Just imagine placing 1 finger at the top of the open door - as you close it, it will come in contact with the car body. The rattle comes from the door tapping on the car body. Can visualise now?

there are 2 kinds of separate sounds here..
squeaks caused by window rubbing on the window trim and rattles caused by window hitting hardened window trim..
the spray is for the trims, not the windows.. usually they are wound down before spraying begins..

Got my OWS 535 Body Flex spray at Mc Well Ubi last 2 month ago.
Price ard 40+ if I remember correctly.
Indeed it solves my window & door irritating rattling sound for good 2 months now.
Not sure if PML gummi pledge is equally good though??
