How to switch to auto gear when manual gear activate by shift pedals while driving

I switch to manual gear mode by tapping on the shift pedals while driving.
How can I switch back to auto gear while driving? Thanks

Are u referring to the paddle shift on the steering wheel? If yes, just lighten the loading on your right feet and the computer will auto switch it back to auto-mode.

Are u referring to the shifting of the gear knob? If yes, isn't there a level/catch where u have to press to shift the knob back to auto?

I only knows when using paddle shift, if I drive with less loading on the accelerator, it automatically switch back to auto-mode. Unsure if it is the same as I am using the BMW Performance Steering Wheel.

Practise more loh.

With manual, 1 should be able to rev up to 4k RPM before upshift.

Just need to keep your hands at 10 and 2 o'clock. Fingers for up-shift and thumb for down-shift (regardless of left or right hand).

That one easy ..... When the engine sound makes you nervous it means go up 1 gear.

The car will take care of speed too slow and move 1 gear down for you.

When overtaking Picanto ..... Shift one gear down and wave at it.

When overtaking a GTR .... Shift 2 gears down ..... And wave at it too.

After you can practice with the GTR.

U need to chg yr exhaust first when play with shift paddles, the notes from the exhaust will tell u when to chg gear!

How does a Peformance steering wheel different from normal. My is a PI model 523 f10 highline.

Don't pray pray with Picanto, hearsay they do chiet BMWs once in a while. That's why RBB suggest you should wave at them. Most GTRs I see on Singapore roads drive very leisurely well within speed limits and they won't mind anyone overtaking them. They probably laugh until their tears come out if you try to challenge them. Wave at them to stop them from laughing to death.

usually after awhile it will goes back to auto mode unless you push your gear knob to Manual mode...

I meant I have no idea if there's any difference in the manual-auto-manual response thingy, it should be the same (I guess) other than the BMW Performance Steering Wheel wear the Alcantara, has rpm running led indicators (Left/Right), 0-400m timing, Lap Timing, Water/Oil Temp in digital, G-force indicators... I think that is about it.

did your car come with a little booklet? its call the manual. I think it gives information on HOW TO DRIVE A CAR
