I normally push my gear stick to the left and right again.

did your car come with a little booklet? its call the manual. I think it gives information on HOW TO DRIVE A CAR

nowadays, some car owner become illiterate once told to read car manual.

I used to drive used car that is 5.5 yrs old. My used car is an EOL model. I fall back on manual & google for answer.
