How to value a used BMW which is more than 10 years old?

Hi,

I understand that the value of a car in Singapore is based on the OMV and the remaining COE.

However, if I'm interested to buy a car that is more than 10 years old, and there is no longer a OMV, how do I value the car?

mostly purely on the basis of the value of the COE and the value of the scrap body.

check the log card. see how much the body is worth and how much he paid for his coe. from there your amortize the COE over its life span and add the value of the body, there you will have an approximate value.

Also, you might want to adjust the value based on the condition of the car.
