It was due to Cancer. Just a while back, when asked why he suddenly lose 9kg, he stated it was stomach flu - Inputs from social network.

To be correct, it was but it is still is if we group cancer as one

If broken up into specific cancer type, then the number 1 killer in SG is Cardiovascular Disease while the number 1 cancer killer for male and female is Colon Cancer and Breast Cancer respectively.
