Just want to tell you all how terrible after sales provided by one of the reputable centers based in Alexandra.

Previously the SE promised me that I will have a black colored velour but given me a beige color instead.

Went back to him for the exchange and was told he'll inform me once the black color velour arrives.

After waiting for his call for almost a month, I decided to SMS him this morning. Found out that it is ready for collection:stop!: Didn't I mention that he'll call......

Anyway, went to collect it just now. It is the correct colour this time BUT...... it is NOT a genuine BMW velour! The previous beige color velour he's given was indeed a genuine one bearing the BMW logo. This one I got looks like he got it from some workshops and it is so much lighter than the beige color velour!

Do I want to bring it back to him and demand for a proper one? No, I decided to channel my energy elsewhere fruitful.

I have had enough of their poor after sales and decided to upgrade my current E90 318i elsewhere.

Just to let you guys know..... how $£%@ their after sales really are!! I wouldn't say they cheat but find them rather unprofessional, bear in mind that they are selling great cars but giving poor ( 3rd world ) service.

Sometimes r e SE/SA that damage a company's image.

Maybe you could consider seeing e Manager about it and stop contacting that SE u mentioned?

I know how it feels, I do not mind waiting when the service is good but when it is bad, wait a min also get pissed.

Cant agree with you more on that.

I am just feeling disappointed in them ( the after sales ), such nice showroom with great facilities.

Also, the thought of buying my future BMW ride elsewhere is already 'imbued' in my head ;-) I noticed that there are PI has got good offers.

When buying a BMW and if u seriously not going to PML, do consider e other Germany authorised dealership here... Munich Automobiles... not saying PI not good, it is e initial years of warranty that mattters.

Disclaimer: Am not a staff or affiliated to Munich.

Isn't velour a type of fabric? your SE promised you a roll of BMW branded fabric?

so difficult meh? PML alexandra hur? I go until pek chek, 3 series the interior noise never solve, Z4 the windows always wind up half way and recently the roof refuse to close, X5 engine top leak follow by gearbox leak......after this 3 cars...no more BMW plsssss

Hitmee, s2k, iscoupe and Nytemare all say Audi best because they want what colour they will get it.

Yes, it's a velour floor mat.

I wouldn't put the PI in the "buy it on your own risk category" as there are few good reliable PI around in Singapore as I can see.

What's rather annoying me is the fact that they have given me a proper BMW product initially and now a "stuffs where you can get it from some night market, CHEAPO".

I don't blame you for not able to understand my "kow pey" or ranting as you may be one of the very few satisfied customers. I wouldn't understand if I was a satisfied customer like yourself.

I am here just to share my thoughts and the 1st experience I bought a car from them.

Audi, hmmm.....good cars but does not come with RWD ;-)

so I summarise.....

in essence....ColtQ2 was promised an original BMW OEM black floor mat, but salesperson issued a beige floor mat.

when finally issued with the promised black colour floor mat.... it looked non OEM and non shiok looking to him.

so he took to the forums to rant... instead of trying to find an solution with the salesperson....

In my very humble, non-expert, lay-person, kopitiam opinion, a *real* rant usually involves the following sequence:

a. Leaky headlamps (this is just an example - in your case, velour mats that don't match)
b. Dragon Slaying Lotus Buddha 18-step Killer King Kong Palm prints left all over PML's tables
c. PML beating a hasty retreat and making good/fixing the aforementioned issue
d. Original poster coming back here to show off some chest hair & thump himself on the back for a job well done
e. The obligatory brothers on the forums chipping in with congratulatory remarks, salutations & felicitations
f. And the original poster then finding out that the fcuking thing doesn't work, and having to bring it back to PML for round two...
g. Oh, not forgetting, wiper washer top up of $14 + GST.

That's a real rant.

I da man.
