At least in the high range models, BMW has nothing to offer. Think SL, SLS, SLR

Also the AMGs look better than the Ms, IMO

Agree with bro sandman... I dunno about other girls, but my wifey kinda still prefers the "soft cushy feel" of the Merc seats.... Sigh

There are also those who went from C63 AMG to M3. I know of at least 4 C63 AMG owners and most only kept it for a year. I agree the M3 lacks torque, which is why I drive it in manual all the time. The strawberry engine can induce torque more easily in manual mode.

But the C63 wagon is gonna be a sleeper and give you enjoyment in certain aspects that a M3 cant. Enjoy and let me taxi ride some day.

merc cant shake off the ah pek image lah. even if u drive an amg theres this old man image lor. in real life most who drive amgs r old men, versus BMW M3 most r young dudes, so the #s speak for themselves the age demographic.

I feel one gets bored after a while no matter what u drive. Jason is lucky to be in a sound financial position to be able to change cars. Many are simply left to finish up on whatever they have at least until 5 years. M3 to C63 or vice versa, it happens. The C63 wagon is one beautiful interpretation, but i am worried that the body style might bore him sooner. Jason is after all, one young and hot blooded school boy looking dude. Since he already has a XC60 people carrier, i would imagine him buying something more out-rightly sporty like the C63 Coupe. Wagon is quite a niche body style and an acquired taste. I still feel Jason should have gotten the Coupe. It suits him nicely. I really like the C63 Coupe Black Edition!!!

I also think wagon are very acquired taste esp for a souped up one. I only worry about the resale market as there are not many with similar taste. but heck it, if one can afford and love it. =)
