I drive starts up very slow!

Hi,

Just had this problem today. When I insert key in, the I drive took about 10 seconds to light up. Usually it is almost instantous. Initially thought it is due to a week battery but batt check shows batt still strong. Batt is 3.5yeas old though.

Anyone has encountered this problem before and can help to offer some advice? Did a search but could not find any answer to it. Thanks

Reboot means hold the volume button for 20 seconds until screen blank out and bmw reappears? Will try it out. Thanks for the help!

Check if your battery has a SMRT certification mark on it.

If yes, any delay is normal.
