At 2cm apart and rub...that is because the rub is probably in the inner wheels!

installed uprated springs / 2cm gap / camber 1.5 and still heard chiiiirrrrppppp.....
checked bottom of rear fender and found melted black gook from the rubber on them and fresh scuff marks on the tyre. for sure not inside rubbing la.
going to try camber 2.0 and see if still rub. if yes, then for sure going 'lye-treatment'.
problem is rs-gts offset 135i is 35 and recommended rear tyres are 245x30x19 but whats the use switchin from stock 245x35x18 to 245x30x19? traction still NOT enuff and would liked to go 265x25x19 but 265 will be too wide and stick out more. hence, tried 255x30x19 and rubbed but easier to solve.
if have to go 'lye-treatment' maybe can try 265 then.
some of the usa modders are all out at 285 rears but, need work on fender and inside fender wall as well.

295 and on 21s? must be damn fierce . . . . anyhow, you need that rear rubber cos of all the low-end torque!
better to experiment with less ex rubbers and solve it before going onto the more ex ones.

you may also like to check if spring rates on your v3s are the hardest available from kw? personally, not familiar about v3s cos went straight to clubsport with 600lb/in front and 800lb/in rears.

Huh? Mine's done already. Standard 21" AC Type IV on 275 fronts and 295 rears. Just bringing it back to have the fenders rolled so I can go loooooowwwwwweeeerrrrr.

mate, just cambered 2.0 and still not enuff.
hence, next wk not gonna roll but knocked fender out slightly.
will solve the rubba-rubba issue and yet have the mean lean bulging muscular back look.

I saw one black E60 in Pasir Ris with fat rear tires and kim kim rims, the wheel arch also protrude out like the pix at top. I think as long as the arch is within the maximum width of the car, i.e inside the side mirror dimension, it MAY be acceptable. Bros, interested should check with LTA.

hmmmm maybe he should go bugis junction basement carpark to see if he pass those tight carpark 'curb-width' test circuits...

I love those wheels but can't seem to find the brand that carries them. Closest I've seen are BBS LMs in 20s.

Inden Champion, made by BBS in 3 piece setup for MBs. Available in 20inch with widths up to 12"....woah...wonder if it fits my e64.
