id4 vs id6 and carplay guidance.

hi all,

i just bought a 2016 4 2.0i.

i want to add carplay to my headunit.

I googled and there seem to be two ways:
software upgrade from id4 to id6

or

a hardware option by adding a product called mmi.



I dont know which one to go for.

anyone has any experience with this?

any inputs will be much appreciated.

My suggestion is to upgrade to ID6 for a better user experience. Do check with Elebest what are your options.
