Re: IL6 NA or 4-cyc Turbo?
Having driven both 6 and 4 back to back, I guess there is no clear cut answer for which is best? It depends what you want?!
I find 4 is very good for my day-to-day city driving. Powerful, economical (petrol as well as tax), turbo kick etc. But, but, I miss the smoothness, medium and high end smooth torque, engine note etc.
2.5L 6 is history now. Future ones would be all mostly 4 potter turbos. When I wanted to change this time, there was no option for 6 from PML (I did not want to go PI way) and I am feeling okay with my decision.
Heart says 6, mind says 4. Do you listen to heart or mind? lol
