In car cam

Just one day after repairing my body kit, a kuku driver traded paint with my car (parked) while she reversed. She tried to drive away until I knocked on her window. Thank goodness that I was walking back to my car after getting some snack for my customer at old airport hawker centre.

Enough bull, I think it's a sign for me to get an in car cam as I don't think I will be that lucky the second time, if it does happen again.

Guys please share what u have and how much is it?

I m using a HD720P Action Camera (2.6cm x 1.4cm x 0.82cm) purchased from e USA and using portable chargeable battery to operate e DVR. I also don't have a DVR for e rear. Damage was approx S$280 when I purchased it about 10 months ago.

Am using Blackvue dr400 with Power Magic. Total damage including installation is about $320. Got the cam from Gmkt and installed it at Soundwerkz.
Works pretty well and Cam unit seems able to withstand Singapore HOT SUN.

Based on the dimension, it is 1/4 the size of Go Pro, so nope. It is specifically PED Action Camera.

It is personal choice, just go with what you are seeking as 'priority' while doing some 'homework'.

I did my own homework when i decided to go with Action Cam and based on my decision on 3 factors i.e. minimum HD720P, Small and usable with portable battery pack.
So when I found PED, its done deal. No Action Cam in the world is smaller than PED with a dimension of 2.6cm, 1.4cm and only 0.82cm thick which is effectively smaller than my ride's remote key.

Those action cams are great for action in day light. Day time it is fantastic and has 170degree fov.

Night time it will get very grainy.

Battery is also an issue too. The battery on my gopro hero 3 only last like 1hour+.

Those action cams are great for action in day light. Day time it is fantastic and has 170degree fov.

Night time it will get very grainy.

Battery is also an issue too. The battery on my gopro hero 3 only last like 1hour+.

You try using rechargeable battery pack?
Like my super mini Action Cam's internal battery last only 45mins but with a 2600mAh ultra slim battery pack, it last me 4hours+45mins. Now with the availability of ultra slim 10000mAh (1-1.3cm thick), it can last me long time since I do not use it overnight.

In that case, you have to consider the sides as well ... Any camera can do an auto rotation in parking survellience mode ?

Yups, really small HD Action Camera.

When I purchased it, there was only a standard camera of 120deg aov, now got 180deg aov.
