dude... sigh!

our cars are rather smart - when it senses that your car batt is running low, it disables most of the auxiliary devices which will drain the batt even further. hence the welcome lights don't work.

the auxiliary devices get powered on only when the batt recharges to a minimum level. so that's why when you drive your car for a while, the welcome lights work again.

now what caused the discharge? probably the comfort access function.

do you live in a landed property? do you leave your car keys in close proximity to the car after you park?

try putting it further away. like in the kitchen or something (assuming the kitchen is the furthest away from your porch.

Hahaha.. Mai so grouchy lar... I really appreciate your reply man... Later tonight I pass my keys to my neighbor 2 house away and see if I still get the error.. I just came back from another round of driving... So far so good everything back to normal...

Keys with the neighbor? Will definitely not see the battery discharge warning, but you might find the low fuel warning light turning on the next morning

Just buy a safe, coat it with lead and keep the keys inside. Even Superman cannot see thru with X-ray vision.

Hi it's good now...haven't had any problem or warning lights for the past few months. Ahway I call the BMW service and they changed it for me within 2 hours... Buy its quite expensive...
