Info on 02/03 5 Series (E34)

Thinking about changing my "03 320iA E46 for an 02/03 E34. Had the pleasure of driving the ''96 E39 and also "98 E34. Miss driving the 5 series. Anyone with comments on which E46 to look out for? :juggle:

I meant to say 96 E34 and 98 E39. Now looking for 02/03 E39. Sorry abt that - got a bit excited with joing the forum.

There are plenty of pre-owned E60 discontinued 520i 2.2L at very affordable prices now already. Why an E34??

I seem to still have a bit of preference for the look of the E39. The E39 strikes me as being rather elegant. Not quite sold with the looks of the E60 exterior and the dashboard still.
Performance wise, I've not been able to compare - have not tried the E60. Affordability is another factor as well. Quick check indicates prices of the E39 below 100k.
Am still exploring and happy to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

2 months back i just sold off my 1999 e39.
Great car to drive, really miss her.. Good luck on ur search!

Thanks mate! What other variation does it come with 520,523, 525? I drove a 98 520i previously. Looking to see if I should look beyond the 520i.

Dealers are taking in E60 520i around 80k-90k only now! Should not be a problem for you to buy an E60 since u have a budget of 100k.
