Inquiry of 320

Re: Inquiry of 320

fat hope ... you mod up/down ... left/right ... inside/out ...
if without TC ... the dyno chart might still show 150+ bhp nia
have not seen a 320 dyno chart that break 160+ bhp ... haven't mention torque yet
if power is 1st priority, forget 320 ... no point.

wow 18k that alot but after all from 156BHP can up to how much.

Above cost is base on all brand new & atas branding! ;) Still able to get all at a lower cost (eg: used ones, non popular brands)

Stock on paper are 156BHP (before lost) = est: 124BHP on wheel. Reflash will have added est: 10 ~ 20BHP gains (320i) Total up will be est: 144BHP on wheel.

Compare papers wise is 156BHP vs est: 172BHP (after reflash & before lost)

Not forgetting added gains on air filter & exhaust mods.

To mod an E90 320i is for better drive rather than gains. Force induction rides will be & have more gains when modded as compare. :D

My nee jiam :)

Cheers ~~ :)

I think Dyno chart always show BHP on wheel. (correctly me if im wrong)

Cheers ~~ :)

Re: Inquiry of 320

BOSS dynochart shows motor power, wheel power and lost power.
I assumed BOSS had dynoed more than 30 x 320i pre-FL and LCI and never seen 1 achieve 150bhp/156bhp at motor (so called engine power stated in factory spec)

Re: Inquiry of 320

what I know on paper spec is 156BHP but on wheel should be less.
I think around 140BHP(WHP) like that. so buy doing this to increase but to 156BHP.
Or can it be more.

Averagely ppl will have it around 127 ~ 139BHP after reflash. Which is on wheel (I guess) so if its before lost (est add + - 20%) will be 152 ~ 167BHP (est)

On papers @ 156BHP is est & its always lesser one..

Correct me if im wrong ~

Cheers ~~ :)

Re: Inquiry of 320

If you are looking for power, there is nothing better than a TC car. Go for the 335i and you will never look back. Check out the ads in sg car mart.

Re: Inquiry of 320

That's why buy IL-6 for NA car especially 325. No need mod pwr. Juz slap on 19" wheel, body kit & coilover. Smelly smelly 218hp. After 10% discount, still got 200hp.

Re: Inquiry of 320

Thanks to all bros.

But please advice me what is the different of 323 and 325 seen the engine is the same.
335 yes is a tc car price also good on high side and I do not know 335 is one tc unit or 2 tc unit.

Re: Inquiry of 320

323 & 325 both are N52 6 cyclinders engine
323 is detuned and there are some "minor hardware" differences with 325
you cannot flash a 323 to achieve the same 325 performance.
if you are looking at used car, just get 325 ... will not go wrong

335 N54 is TWIN TURBO !

Hi,

335i is a nice and powerful car to drive. TC cars can easily up the power factor - HP by 10 - 15% with a simple re-fresh of the ECU. Search this forum and you will be able to read the benefits of "juice box".

335i stock is at 306hp and 400Nm. A simple refresh can bring you to about 350hp and a peak torque of close to 500Nm.

335i come in twin turbo or single scroll turbo.

Re: Inquiry of 320

Wow, which mean the 323 have a hardware problem, now checking up on the SG car mart
only P.I have 323 P.Agent sold all the 323 now having 325.
BM 325 having 215BHP that is alot nice on driving on road and overtaking any time.
But on track still need to do number of things.

As I heard ppl keep on saying BMW always having gear box problem it is real.
As some of them say if you bring it to track it will surface even more...

Re: Inquiry of 320

For this model 335i which normally come with TC but kindly check with you, need to fit blow-off valve anot. as some of my friend had told me saying euro car cannot fit blow-off valve at all.
If you fit it the car will loss power.

Re: Inquiry of 320

you sounds like very concern about tracking - you want performance, reliability, durability, etc ... 325 might not be your best choice.

IMO, if you are looking for a car that is track ready, do not require much mod and goes easy on your pocket (maintenance-wise), get a FD2R!

If you want something that is comfortable for daily drive and handles well on A/B roads, the 3 series is worth considering.

Damn, come to think of it, i would still prefer a K20A engine on the E90 chasis! But that's me.
