Clarion HX-D2.... sound quality is brilliant. Mr Regret, it all depends on your budget. Some people are willing to pay more for dolphin graphics on the HU, some would rather pay for sound quality. Most opt for Alpine in bimmers cos the illum can be selected to match the orange lights in our car.

now thinking of getting the alpine unit tat comes with the LCD screen or the pioneer wan...but tats a huge investment l must say...

just curious, what is your budget, n what do u hope to achieve? there are many ways to go about it, u know... since u also want a screen... it's a bottomless pit, this ICE thing, and it's all a matter of getting the most of wat u want fm wat u wanna spend... and gettin it installed and tuned right... share some more info leh, den let the bros here 'poison' you according to your tolerance...
