Hi all e60ers

Does anyone know where is the best place to dismantle e60 interior trims ? Preferably some workshop that is familiar with he job and can dislodge all trims in an hour. Thanks !

Thanks for the info. Mind sharing time involved if you did go with anyone of them ?

You going to cubic print/spray/sticker?

At the moment, most likely wrap. Most ideal scenario would be if I can get my hands on a set of used alu trim.

Another candidate: Mike of Sin Wee Chuan.

Re: Interior Trim

One hour NOT enough. For E60, the whole panel has to be taken out and then there are multiple screws inside to unscrew before the trims can be take out. The two front doors are tricky because for the dashboard trims to be taken out, the two aircon ducts at the side MUST also be dismantled.

Whole process give and take will require about 2 hours MINIMUM continous work (no smoke breaks, no toilet breaks, no phone calls, no chit chat etc )...

I did mine at Robson

Thanks for the insights guys, guess it's not a straightforward process, will contact Robson with measured expectation then !

Btw, just want to say that after going through 1 and 3 series, I must say the e60 hold it's own as one of Bangle's most exciting design. Was my first love of the talented designer's work a long time ago, and still look fresh in my eyes after 8 years. Just have to fix some occasional rattles in my 8 year old car !

Knock on wood, if lady luck pull one of her infamous pranks on you again, you'll still have your bros here for you. /wobbles stands up to be counted - not just Internet heroism ok :)

It's funny how superficial some 'friends' are isn't it ? Materialism in Singapore has somehow clouded some folks who are really harmless in intent. True friends are more motivated to be sensitively crytstal.

Anyways, kudos to you for the effort paid to your cars, both e60 and F10 !

Bro, did you managed to get it done in the end? i am trying to find someone who can help to replace my current door handle panel/trim. Apparently, my last owner managed to break every single hooks inside, and used those sticky glue to hold it to the door. i wish to replace it as it seemed quite difficult to do it myself. Some more, the replacement trim costs my $80/pc...just a piece of plastic...

Re: Interior Trim

I did it at a shop in ubi. From Johnson sticker shop, cross the road and walk left. Few units down the road and there is an accessory shop doing audio etc. cost me 100 plus only to remove n put back. Friendly boss n workmanship is alright.
