"Silviu Ionescu, former Romania's charge d'affaires to Singapore, who was sentenced to six years behind bars in February by a Bucharest court is dead. Ionescu was found guilty of manslaughter for hitting three pedestrians in December 2009 while driving a car belonging to the Romanian mission. A 30-year-old Malaysian, died. The court found him guilty of inflicting injuries and fleeing from the scene of the crash. He died of cardio-respiratory problems in a Bucharest jail hospital."
Ïn retrospect, he should have admitted guilt and stand trial in Singapore.
Guess it's bad karma to run away from your crimes......
