iPAD: Any new version coming soon?

Now that Steve Job has confirmed that there will be no 7in iPAD, do you know if there is going to be any new version of iPAD coming out in the next six months?

Is it a sound decision to buy an iPAD now? I am looking at a 32GB 3G @$1000 somthing...

I think Apple will stick to the 9" format in the next refresh. Until then, I would expect Apple to continue to push out updates to the current models. If you are really in the market for an iPad, why wait?

I forsee the refresh being the screen upgraded to RETINA. But it will probably take a while before Jobs announces this as too many people will be pissed off. It kinda sucks to use the iPad after using the iPhone 4.

Probably two cameras in the next version.

Thanks for the feedback. Went to Funan to check out the price. Even indenpendent shops are staying put to official listed price. Not even an additional free screen or anything.

In Xmas, most likely iphone 4 white color.

As far as i could rem, iphone product cycle is 1 yr, i.e. next version will be June 2011.

in Hardwarezone.com, there is a "new shop" at Peoples Park Centre that offers a nominal discount... like instead of $1280, is offering $1200.

I'm thinking of getting an Ipad too. Noob question: Ipad don't support Java right? Is Ipad just a bigger Iphone only without the phone function?

I can procure across all Apple range @ 5% nett off RRP corporate discount. But will be going for newly launched Macbook Air if anyone wants to hop on.

64gb wifi + 3g selling for 1228 in sin.
hk only selling hk6488. based on exchange rate of 600, only sgd1081.

That's what I was thinking, cos going this weekend. But still thinking should I get a Ipad or other tablet pcs.
