Happy New Year!

This morning, the alarm on my iphone failed to work. Did a check with a few other friends and neighbours, and similarly, they do not work.

Anyone else encounter the same issue, and how to resolve?

did a search, and many inputs from sites down under....

seems like set to repeat alarms is no issue, but single alarm will fail.

wait for bug fix in the next update lor...no choice.

I think Apple research team are busy on the 1st day of the year

no issue for me. alarm is not set to repeat. question is whether you set it to ring.

According to numerous complaints on twitter, it seems that the iPhone's alarm clock will not function properly come New Year's Day. This particular glitch in the iOS software will affect all users who use the alarm clock without recurring alarms. According to 9to5mac, the glitch will fix itself on January 3rd. You may recall a similar bug in the iOS software which was later on fixed in iOS 4.2.1.

For now, make sure to set all your alarm clock to reoccur, or repeat on the days you want it to. This bug is present in 4.2.1 and earlier versions of iOS

Must be a smart feature to sleep later on NYs day plus 2nd Jan...

let's wait and see what happen on 10.01.11 and all dates that only has 0 and 1 ... hehe

ok. i stand corrected that the problem is self-rectified from 3rd Jan onwards
luckily i did not kena this bug as my alarm is set repeated ... hehe

i didnt know APPLE also got bugs... thats interesting...
