Any comments ?

Loss too much of power/torque ?

went to a tyres shop, they recommend why not change to 20", from 18" to 19" is too little, can't tell ;)

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

yeah it will look nice , that is bout it
dotn see any reason why spending more on tires n rims for that extra inch

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

When you hit 20"s, the tyre sizes will be 245/275 still, cause 285 will rub at the rear. Thing is - even at 275, 20"s look like they will rub too !!!

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

i agreed with the above. rims its one time cost. but tires will be a concern. if that's not your concern. go with your heart cos you're the one who will be paying.

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

will you/ have u lowered your car? Me thinks 20 inch with unlowered car will look weird..

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

i wanted to do this but was talked out of it by some fellow forumers as being overkill...

if you find the right rim and offset, etc go for it. there are guys running 19"s in the US and they seem to be doing fine...

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

U will lose a bit for comfort too. Otherwise, of coz 20" looks darn chio. Whether rub or not will also depend on your rim offset.

I am assuming 19"s for your new wheels. Stock offset for 19x8 F 19x9 R is +37 +39 running on 225/255 tyres.

Depending on your rear choices (9.5J or 10J for 265 or 275 tyres config), 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 R or 19x10.0 R should have an offset of +32 F and +30 to +32 R.

For a 325, you should stick to 235/265 tyres, hence 19x8.5 F 19x9.5 R should suffice.

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

is it possible to run profile 40/35 19" rim for E90 ? what is the configuration ?
i understand the common setup is 235/35 and 265/30 as you have stated

Re: Is 20" rim too big for e92?

35/30 is the more popular tyre profile for 19"s.

spot on kenntona, I'm thinking of getting 19" wheels.

one of the options given is 19x8.5 et40(fronts) and 19x9.5 et33(rears). would this be advisable?

Front needs spacers if you want a flush look. Rear is fine.
