I also have some engine issue for my 2018 X1. The issue is the engine vibrated after immediate start button pressed and after that it was normal. After 4 weeks of diagnosed. PML replied that BMW Asia agreed to replace new engine. I also want to know that how to complain to CASE and what can they do for us?

Hi, Is the issue resolve after the engine change??

I also felt that my 2018 X1 have the same issue of engine vibrate after start button is pressed, especially prominent at cold start. Frankly I am not sure if this is normal as I did not do any comparison. Feedback to PML during 2nd service and the SA said the battery is weak after his test drive. Got the battery replaced but don’t feel a lot of different. Need advise here.

Try to see if u can off the auto start stop to see if it rattles like wat u mentioned

Don’t seem to be related to Start/Stop. It’s mainly during cold start that the engine vibrates but reduces after 30sec or so.
