Hmm getting late. Turbo Charge and Direct Injection. You can try google for some technical details but what I observe is that generally cars that are TC+DI (like BMW N20 engine or those VW TSI engine) will get black soot at the exhaust.

Hi Meek,
Where in KL do u service? So change every 5000km? What oil do u use? And after this for the 10000km u ho back to PML...to maintain the warranty status? Have u got ur lights replaced....?

change every 5km. yup. service in fren's workshop. buy my own filter. use 5w-30... any brand oso can. 10k go service pml as recommended.

I just collected my X1 sDrive 20i 2 weeks ago. I noticed that it does not has a guage for engine temperature.
How we do monitor the engine temperatue? Do we have to montor the coolant level from the bonnet every now and then?

Can any bro advise difference between 18i and 20i ( besides better performance )?

Does 18i also comes with keyless entry as well?

welcome to BMW-SG family.

main difference for example the Sdrive20i is with twin power turbo, Idrive, 18" rims and dual exhaust.

keyless entry not very sure.

Depends actually on individual preference.
anyway you can check some details here.

18i also doesnt have leather seats.

You should test drive the 20i.

I got mine in April this year. Went for two servicings already. Done 17000km so far.

Only issues I had were the creaky sound when wing minions fold and unfold but greased and resolved. Rattling, creaky doors also resolved. The auto air circulation mode/ setting was reset by pml during my recent servicing as it did not seem to activate automatically when in auto mode. So far ok after the reset.

Haha true true. In that case can't compare to Toyota either. As I don't think they have any crossovers. Closest would be a rav 4 and that's an SUV. And I don't think the rav 4's rc is any better then.
