JDM wheels for E90

hi,

need to get a poll of opinions

a. jdm wheel on e90 ... yeah or nay ?

b. looking at lightweight such as advan rs, volks me and now prodrive. OZ ultraleggara is out as i don't like the design.

c. have shortlisted 2 prodrive model based on prodrive application list for bmw. it seems like GC-05K offset is great but i like GC-014i more as it resembles volks me. and i'm only interested on 18" for reasons like reduce weight, comfort, cheaper tyres and so on ....

what do you guys think ? other suggestions ?

GC-05K, 18x8.5 +30 & 18x9.5 +34

why not JDM? The important thing is that you like it. I am running a set of JDM (Wedsports SA-67R)on my E90.

Selectively..... go for Volks Progressive MEs....... I think it is the best JDM wheels in quality and weight for bimmers, barring Neez and Schmeiden.

if plans are on 18" get GC-05K if BBK its in the mod list, or else GC-014i.

why not 19" the only concerns its the tire cost.

Hahaha.. i was in exact same dilemma as u 6 months ago.
a. JDM definitely YEAH.
b. Advan I believe is not forged (compared to ME and prodrive)
c. betw the 2 prodrives there is a 9 mm diff in offset for front wheel. This IMHO is huge! Make sure u wont regret this later and start looking for spacers.

Wot do i think? Go straight for the ME. Won't regret..

i use advan rs on my e92 and love it.

next favourite wheel is the volk prog me. GC-014i very similar so also nice choice.

if u are looking at Prodrive gc14 i suggest u bite the bullet and get the Volk Progressiv ME... i think there is 1001 good reviews on this...
resale value should be better too... and i think it looks more concave too!

btw how much is the diff?

Advan RS
Bore size fits E90 without needing centering ring
Offset is specially optimised for E90
Stock BMW roundel fits, using adapter ring
Not forged, but still one of the lightest (MAT flow-formed technology)

Anyone else have these on E90?

18 pounds = 8.18kg only...

u maybe the first is sg, havent seen these running around..

thats my customers car for the CE28N, its already sold, he already has a new set, but i would get Volk or Advans for JDM style
