Hello forum! Just joined up your forum as i just put downpayment on a 1991 e36 325i today!
Very excited should be on my driveway by end of this week!
So, a lot of questions! Am i mad? Anything really critical I should check b4 closing the deal? Any major hassles with these cars? It's silver, M3 rims, auto, test drive seems to pull very nice and smooth - and a real meaty wallop comes in over 3500rpm!
Slight mechanical creaking when letting the brake off and just b4 pulling away, but doesn't sound untoward or anything for a 14 year old car - is it right to think this? All felt very tight on the whole.
Full independant inspection to be carried out tomorrow - any major probs then dealer has assured me deposit will be refund.
Would be great to hear from some e36 members out there, any pointers for a new owner appreciated!
