Keep having to top up engine oil

Hi guys. I just bought an 8 year old e90 a month ago. I did full servicing right after with liqui moly engine oil and some additives as recommended by the mechanic so that the engine oil will last longer.

However 2 days ago the low engine oil indicator turned up and i topped up 500ml of mobil1 engine oil and it went away. Unfortunately the light came up again today. (Mileage around 120km for 2 days).

Anybody experienced this before? Thanks!

Might be leaks in your engine.

Since 1 year more, pls do minor repair n use thicker oil with 50 grades would help abit depending how serious the leaks are.

U might like to pop up engine hood to search for leaks.

Ive checked and i cant find any visible leakages. But i do notice there's a lot of white smoke at times.

2 days 120km for 500ml of EO is alot.
based on white smoke you saw, major repairs are needed.
your piston rings and valve i think wore out already. go back to your dealer ask them sort it out.

CONFIRM LEAKING...please send to reputable BMW workshop to check.
