Kudos to Juzz For Cars

My car was part of a wedding convoy last Saturday and early in the day, the videographer leaned his elephant elbow on the plastic cover that hide the soft top... and dislodged one of the movable parts! Horrors!

I had to leave the car topless while the bride's entourage played silly games with us, even though dark clouds had started to gather.

Right after the tea ceremony I rushed over to J4C, where Amos was on hand to help  Within minutes I was back on duty at the groom's house, and it didn't matter when it finally rained.

(on the way out of J4C, Louis drove past in me his Z4 and gave a friendly wave... I am among friends :))

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Pity that the presumably male videographer could not make it up to you. Are the Ah Yees chio?

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Hey, I was there when you screeched to a halt in front of J4C and Amos fixed your car in 2 minutes flat. The service level at J4C is outstanding.

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

kenntona: oh yes all nine of them were ... so despite my car problem I had to play my part and keep my smile. Videoman had the cheek to say later, "aiyah I knew a Beemer would be hardy."

ulujungleboy: haha sorry mate too much of a rush, didn't get a chance to say hi :)

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

what would we do without our friends at j4c and bvo?
your day would be ruined if you count on pml.

:)

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Totally. Just called them... 2 days to change my front windshield... heroes they are...

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

To be fair to PML. U need 2 days to change windscreen. The epoxy glue requires like 8 hour for curing. Afterwhich, they will do a splash test before releasing the car.

As for J4C, I must say that Billy has been the greatest help for me. Imagine calling him from KLCC on a Sunday morning and he will give u step by step guide on how to remove a expansion tank when shit happens... hehe :)

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Hmm.. if that's the case then its understandable. I'm wary of their standard of service hence the skepticism.

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Yah man I'm skeptical also. If I'd driven to PML instead, I probably won't see my car until Monday... at a price.

To begin with, I don't know if they'll even entertain walk-ins on a Saturday afternoon!

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Don't want to splash too much cold water on this thread but I don't think J4C is that great. This is what happened to me:

I wanted to change oil and oil filter for my car. Wanted to find out which engine oil they used. I called them up and they refered me to someone else (I can't remember his name) and asked me to call him on his mobile phone. Did just that and he said he would call me back (now that he had my HP number). Waited for over an hour, then I decided to call him. He was still busy. Afterwhich I gave up and decided to go somewhere else.

This was about two months ago. Maybe he doesn't know me, but I could have been a customer. Anyways......

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Maybe that could have been a one-off thing?

Sorry bru... i beg to differ... i've been servicing my ride at J4C for the past 3yrs+++ and i must say their service has been immaculate... do give them another go ya...

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

J4C and BVO are both great. my experience with both is nothing but the best as compared to PML.

OT abit - does anyone know they have publish pricing for oil/oil filter change, 20000km servicing? does their price include labor charges? and will labor charges differs between different model of BMW? TIA.

Well, I suppose I might be in the minority and it seems many have had good experiences with J4C, so sure, its a great place.... but just not for me..... Anyway, I did mine at BVO.... they are excellent.....

1. I've been going to J4C for more years than I can remember, and eventho they may or may not be the cheapest service provider, I trust them to do a good job, and have entrusted them with 3 BMWs, 1 Audi, and 1 Subaru (bought new, serviced at agent once, and swore never to go back again, told them to stuff their warranty)... Next BMW otw, and eventho I'm buying a VW thru 'Official Channels', I WILL be sending that to J4C too... and have recommended several people to them as well...

2. What whoever did, was unexcusable... regardless... and someone from J4C should read this thread and say something about it... even if its a simple 'sorry'...

3. S**t happens... although some businesses (none in particular, no industry in particular) have won numerous accolades and awards, every once in a while, slip ups do happen... and some people would have probably had a bad experience at an 'award-winning place'...

4. I don't think this thread, or any other thread for the matter, should be a contest between which non-agent is better... Maybe half of the forummers here use BVO and the other half uses J4C... So long as you're happy, stay with whoever you're happy with... I think more importantly, its sad (maybe good in some ways) that even at a price-premium, an official agent does not offer the best possible service that can be offered... and hence consumers turn to other channels for their service needs...

Cheers, all...

Dear TheNew7,

kl88 is right... Your bad experience with us must have happened on a very busy day, but it is still not excuseable. Please accept our sincere apologies.

To All Our Dear Supporters,

Bless you all. Fridge will be re-stocked... juzz for you... :)

Re: Kudos to Juzz For Cars

Hey Snowdog,

Thanks. I can see that J4C has strong support from fellow forumers. Probably I called on an off-day.

When I require another service, I will call upon J4C.

Just curious, what kind of packages do you offer for servicing and which engine oils do you offer?
