I was the one who grabbed the deal, which turned out to be a really bad deal, as the set of bars were incomplete and defective.

I admit it - I was an idiot. When dealing with TS, I merely asked if all the bushings and brackets were in order. He said yes. I just briefly "felt" the front bar through the thick plastic wrapping to convince myself that the bushing and brackets were present, and I accepted it. At that point in time, I was more keen on how to "adjust" that set of bars.

At a later date, I brought the bars to workshop for installation. Turned out, the rear bar was missing 1 bushing and both brackets, hence incomplete. Also, the front bar's bushings were in so bad condition that the bar squeaked. The noise was so unbearable during driving, I had to remove it, hence defective.

The next thing I did was to contact TS, and he agreed on a resolution. First was to search for the missing components, and eventually he agreed for the set of bars to be returned. However, the communication was hampered by the fact that every phone number I used could only get through to him once. When I tried the second time using the same phone, it failed to get through. No prize for guessing why. Over the course of the next 2 weeks, I used a total of 3 different phone numbers to contact him in my attempt to seek resolution. The last straw was last night, when we agreed to meet up to return the bars. As expected, he could not be contacted. For him to have agreed on a resolution, and then went on to pull missing stunts and blocking numbers, not cool. Not cool at all.

TS / jobea / Pat, $300 is a cheap price for me to pay to learn life's lesson - that I should be more paranoid and careful in future dealings. However, to lose your credibility over $300, in my opinion, not worth it. Perhaps you do not really care about credibility, since you can conveniently hide under covers of "jobea", and block all numbers of those who are not in your favour.
