Speedyj, I spoken to my SE he told me maybe is some sort of lubricant for the nuts and bolts. But I'm bring it back to them on wed to make sure nothing is wrong cos its quite alot.

Actually the trims r standard to wat u ordered with ur ride, sports, luxury etc unless it comes spec with additional like M Performance

Oh... My se told me my car is from South Africa, now I realized it from Germany..... another finding...

Actually there may be a simpler but less accurate way bro.. If its made in Germany, it will actually say "Made in Germany" on your pillar B where the color code is. Otherwise, it just says "Made by BMW"!! Hahahaha

whats the diff between the first 3 char and the 11th? I notice that the latest batch of F30s look to be from SA.

B = BMW Germany
A = Passenger Car

Current F30
11th Digit = E = Regensburg

My previous E90 vin numbers
WBAP H16060 N M60591 = South Africa
WBAP G56000 N L20983 = South Africa

jus checked my car.. also has tt yellowish stuff.. do u know what it is??

On that day of collection got another guy collecting the same ride and trim but his side mirror is white color. I really dun know mine is the old stock or new stock. But after 2 days of driving I found out my Bluetooth not working and yellowish discharge inside the engine. Refer to the pic below

I think it's this stuff, for rust protection. they could have probably done a better job cleaning it up at the pre delivery prep.

If you compare 3M with other films i think 3M still not as fantastic as other film go compare the specs online , you will find other films with better heat resistant .

It is better to get cash rebate or pml vouchers if there is a choice.

Or else it is dark enough and worksmanship looks quite good.

The front is similar, the rear is lighter shade than other brands. I've since changed to Cool N Lite cos 3M to me sucks, the car feels hotter compared to wat I had enuff for previous rides.
