Latest engine treatment additive - BORPower

Re: Latest engine treatment additive - BORPower

I wasn't kidding when I asked if he was translating from Turkish nor was I trying to play grammar police. As I saw Mr CANDIR's email was from an internet domain originated in Turkey , I had assumed (hindsight on my part) that his email could have been translated using one of the many sub-standard online translator. In fact, I should've been picking at the usual half-ass'ed efforts of traders wannabe, who often dish out laughable half-baked cut and paste job of the intercontinental messenger.

Looking back at this thread, I dare say nobody has had more responses as a skeptic, maybe I should be getting thanks instead for bumping it up once so often. On the part on being convincing and objective, it would surely helps if I could have direct answers rather than the usual rhetorical avoidance, it can be such a turn off sometimes.

OK, no more time wasting wishy washy statements.

Here's a dyno requested...on a Turkish 'BMW'?

And the original ad for BORPower (I think but couldn't find an English version, maybe somebody can translate the keynotes)

YouTube - bor power reklam borpower iletiÅŸim

Finally, an old Turkish saying...

An eşek does değil takdir etmek meyve parça
He that feeds upon charity has a cold dinner and no supper.

Re: Latest engine treatment additive - BORPower

At this point in time, almost all of us simply cut and paste. Nobody is talking about selling or profiting. So far, BORPower sounded quite revolutionary unless you have found another.

The typical snake oil kind of responses have to be bashed of course. Though available info cannot answer all the questions, it does adequately give most of us some objective understanding, reasonably more than some other proven additives and pre-mixed oils. Personally, many pre-mixed oils are quick bucks formula sticked with a brand and not necessary as good as some would like to believe. The mediocre performance with little improvement over the years while capping supernormal profit by the bigbrands are just too irresistable for so many others, looking at the ever increasing type of engine oils on the shelf.

Those hard-core skeptics often mean what they say. That's when deciding who fund the dyno would be made easier. Afterall, I suspect many here would gladly accept a nearer you-tube than just commercials or cut and paste. This you can't disagree.

Re: Latest engine treatment additive - BORPower

at great expense, I have secured 10 bottles of isopropyl alcohol (coz they don't make VCRs anymore so I almost couldn't find, had to get it as a small town in Malaysia, Raub) ....

anybody want it? It is not branded lah ... but it's same chemical composition from what I know..... Try it first lah, then see your power boost. S$30 can???

Re: Latest engine treatment additive - BORPower

adding some alcohol to gasoline (NOT OIL) does help if it is friendly to your plastics. Have you heard of toluene?
