Update
I spoke to 2 other car owners in my MSCP with illegal plates. One was in Malaysia during that weekend. The other, not only did he get summon for the plates, but also for his unapproved fog light which was not covered. He also received warning that if motorist abuse the use of their fog lamps unecessarily they can be fine up to $1000 or a jail term of up to 3 months...and thats for 1st time offenders.
There's this van with extra wide sports rims and ultra dark tinting, painted in a loud luminous colour, i'm curious if he also got a hello note from uncle sam too. Haven't bump into him yet...
