I just read this article in a car magazine of this detailer in UK tat charges 5k sterling to wash and polish ur car. He has like sophisticated equipment like ultrasound to guage the paint thickness at diff spots of the car. Apparently ferrari uses very little paint but lambos have alot. There is a picture of an enzo next to him for reference hahah...

Anyways i am always looking out for a new good place to wash and polish my car, so Bros please list your favourite or in your opinion does a best job at car wash and if u have experience too, polish/detailing place. For me i like the shell petrol station on bukit timah goin towards city near newton circus. Detaling i,ve been to the orchard towers one but i heard taka carpark is good. Any thoughts?

for DIY, I use Meguiar's NXT carwash. Currently on PPS by studio 12 using Menzerna system.

for polish and getting rid of swirl and scratches, SFC the best... for regular quick and good wash, Cazcomp at commonwealth lane.!

ESSO station beside newton for car wash. they do polishing too. service is good.

i always see a lot of nice cars go there to wash. i just went last night.

Spa for cars for (1) removing of swirl marks and polishing (2) car wash - they dun use chamois or cloth to wipe dry - they use Makita blower to blow it dry !!! No swirlmark !!!

Best place, my house.......... got air compressor to blow dry, if not got 3 boys to dry and wash the cars......... ha ha ha.

currently at one my kakis place called Hotwheels at Balestir but my hand getting itchy. thinking of trying to DIY and learn something cos i am thinking of starting one in China...hopefully more n more after that.....hehe cos there's alot of loaded ppl driving nice cars like mercs, beemrs in China.....man, the rich ppl are really rich down there...muahaha
think see-thru glass display with ppl working on our beemers.....nice.....and maybe a mod-shop after that.....hohoho
just dreaming for the moment cos i know my wifey will nag nag nag upon hearing this
