Let me get a list of new dates. I will collect the cash collectively for 2 days 1 week before the course. Once you pay, i will lock you in for the slot. And the first 6 will get morngin session unless you prefer the afternoon ones. The remaining 6 will got to the afternoon.

Cheers.

Maybe they find it too expensive? But i must admit $750 is rather hard to swallow... But Lotus leh...

A few questions :
Which model of Lotus car are we driving? Elise or Exige?

Does the drifting course require you to perform those nifty footworks macham like Initial D type? Left foot clutch, right foot brake and accel press together in succession? Or they will teach a different type of drift?

Are non-members of BMW forum eligible? I'm thinking of asking my friends to see if they interested to beef up the numbers. If its strictly for members only, let me know so we can keep it within ourselves.

Its the Elise that we are driving. In one of the pages, i have posted the cars and the venue of drift so you can see hwo it is.

The drifting course goes thru basic manual practice which is very easy to adapt after getting a feel of the car, and the instructors will make it very easy for u to drift as their instructiosn are very clear. Trust me, its alot easier done than said.

Any members can sign up for this and there is no discrimination against other members from other forums, etc.

I hope this information proves useful. If i can get 12 easily, we wud get a confirmed date. If there is more than 12, there will be 2 days, saturday and sunday normally. Of course the more, the better as the organizers will be able to cover their costs. And $750 i though was alot at first, but you have no idea how much wear and tear the tires go thru. I burst a rear tyre and caused the fibreglass to breakoff. i was like shit. and the guy changed me a new tyre and asked me to go out again. I was like :yikess:. Amazing. Just thrash the car with no regrets.

Lookie here. The back fender of the rear tires got ripped off. Dont confuse with the one near the door, that one pattern hor.hahah..

Note to all that, once i get around 12 ppl for 1 day, I will proceed to collect payment immediately or can transfer to my bank account. This way i can confirm the session to those extremely keen. I do not want it to be like the other time where ppl put and remove the names over time. Please check your schedule before putting ur names down and no refund will be awarded once downpayment has been made unless the course is cancelled by the organizer themselves. I hope to see this session go through and the price remains at $750.

Cheers!

Hi, like to know whether we are driving to sepang ourselves or a bus will take us there?
I'm not a Lotus owner, can I participate?

you gotta find someone to tompang u. You dont have to be a Lotus driver to participate. Its real fun and challenging being able to push the limit of the car as its so grippy and agile.

Re: Lotus Drift/Training Courses

I dun mind drivng there myself. Are we going as a convoy or individual and meet over at Sepang?
Need to confirm again that there will be a lotus car provided as part of the training?

S1 Elise provided I believe.

There will be not 1 but 2 lotus cars there. 3 to a car. One is Mark 1 with the Rover engine (My favorite manual gearbox) and the Mark2 which is the Toyota SS2 Engine. Both cars will be there.

Tell you guys what...Spool a common date convenient to everyone and i'll try to get the date. Only saturdays/sundays. If i got enough, i will convince Lotus to hold it on that date?

Fair enough?
