Im not very good on technical aspect on cars, so I would like to ask, what was the reason for you to change your lower control arms? Im driving E90 as well, its 3.5 yrs so i am concerned what are the parts that I should look to change.

Lower control arms bush usually last about 5 yrs or more as long as don't always fly over hump. To change when got knocking sound.

1 2 drive shiok shiok? Change to ///M3. But camber will be sibei out.

Oic, thanks David! Will take note. Nah wont mod the car, intend to just keep it as it is and maintain it properly thats all.

Actually, ///M3 control is stiffer. So, it will last longer.

So you only change it when it starts giving some noise or when the car starts to vibrate. Do you change it based on recommendation by the workshop when there are no symptoms yet?

The control arms holds your wheels and tires to the chassis of the car.
This is to allows the wheels to go up and down when hitting bumps while staying straight and perpendicular to the road.

Therefore a worn out bushings from the control arms will cause some instability in corner/bend especially if is uneven.

Damage? $480 for front control arms + labour + alignment from site sponsor .

WS says worn out, but my mileage only about 50k, so fast.

Do u mean steering vibrate? If yes, check wheel balancing 1st.

The symptom for worn control arm is tok tok sound when u drive thru uneven road or hump.

No problem. Yes, is all in.

I intend to do alignment and the workshop also spotted my front lower arm bushing having sign of wear therefore is wiser to change so that can save another alignment cost.

PM sent for the workshop name.

FYI, u dun need to do alignment if u just change out the bushing

Anyone know how much to change both upper and lower control arm bushings for E60 ? I was told mine cracked ?
