Sat again :) Sure thing! But think Gilman village got parking charges liao. Out of the blue came the uncle to collect kopi money. Where next or still there?

I think will probably go for springs la, the gap really unsightly. Feels irritated at times when I see it. I don't track and more into aesthetics so guess springs are good enuff for me. Now need to check w 715. He still undecided but I believe he will come to conclusion after awhile.

Think 30mm might be right. I hope the camber not really affected otherwise got implications. Not in a rush so let me know k.
Hey gusty boy, its not all abt how many mm to drop.

Ensure after larping in the springs, look from the side view, front to rear of car shd be abt level. All u need is to have the front dipped much lower & the rear sticking up, damn fugly, end up macham like tiong chias.

In a nutshell, front be higher than the rear, ideal space between rubber & fender is 11/2 finger front & 1/2 finger rear gap.

Have fun with springing.

Cheers!

Hi Kim & Gusty, have decided to go cheapo with springs first. If don't turn out well then change to coilovers later. So let's go change together! Anyone else wanna change together?

So which springs are better? Eibach or H&R?

Next meetup wanna meet at Kallang McDonalds?

Not cheapo lah... just our needs to be fulfilled mah.... use the saving for other cosmetics.:lol2:

Most likely doing it during Comex... either drive one of my company's Vans or the small lorry during the absence lah.

But I am easy.... now must see Ben's schedule lor....

Bernard intro Eibach and say i don't need to change shocks as stock shocks can last 2 - 2.5yrs using the new springs... Hopefully by then change new ride liao

Month End Meetup in Kallang liao still want go kallang ah:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: \

Was thinking of Winsledt Rd near Monk's Hill/Newton area. Must pay parking of 1.80 per entry. U guys ok? I will be going there and 2 other places to scout either Mon or Tues and start a thread. You ok boh...:laughlik: :laughlik:

Re: Lowering E60

OT a little here..

Any sis n bros have any idea where to buy the bolt-like contraption that is afixed on the number-plate of a weekend car?

One of the forummers' weekend car's device is totally loosen and will likely fail Vicom inspection.... to make matter worse.... the part of the bumper that the plate is attached to has localised rust. How to solve huh? tks

Re: Lowering E60

Eibach claims to be more popular than H&R...

Bro,

Shl be below $500 for Springs n installation, without shocks. I think you might have to change a new set of shocks as your new ride is 4 years old right.... So with new shocks the price will be different

We will most likely go to BVO... price is reasonable

Cheers

u know wads the damage for full set? :(

Including shocks I think ard 1.5k bah

Give a call to Bernard of BVO to check price of the shock... I think he using Koni or something for shocks and Elbach for the Springs

Cheers

Re: Lowering E60

Lowering spring alone will change the camber setting?

How to compensate that?

I could be wrong but our camber setting will change but depending on how much you lower. Our car can adjust slightly but if excessively lowered then need to buy a camber kit to compensate.
