LTA wants me to change my tint

LTA asked me to change my tint today. Apparently they say its too dark.

Heard vkool is good but has a greenish look which I am worried won’t match my black-on-black theme.

Appreciate some leads on what solar films out there are more black coloured and won’t effect my comfort access and preferablly have installers around Ubi or Sing Ming.

Need to sort this out quick.... thanks in advance.

did u get caught and fined or warning letter?

if u need to go for inspection... just take out...

then once everything done just put back the dark one... if kena caught just pay fine and repeat process...


its worth it... i cant stand non tinted car... esp if its black... its a must...

a white ant stopped my girlfriend and escorted her to lta inspection site.

issued a defect notice. havent seen what the fine is yet....

a real pain because need to fix within 7 days but heading overseas a few days and busy at work so is going to be very rushed to get this done...

fine is 70 dollars... it will come after inspection.... i kena a few times liao...

Try Cool 'n Lite at Ubi -- the tint is more black or grey than green. It's at the same block as Leong Seng but on the side facing PIE, next to New Generation ICE shop.

You can call in or write in to extend the fine and inspection date.

si bei scary, i just got dark tint for 7days, today go BVO drink kopi with window down.. i always drive w aircon never i did tat b4... hair messy...
btw kuvesh u can go sherman there do.. chop chop done.

There should be a couple of threads on him.
