Hi everyone!

I was looking for infos on the Gruppe M CAI for the S54 (M3 E46) engine when i found this forum..
Singapore used to be one of my favorite destination a few years ago (shopping + eat at the food court circus something..)





I'm a track junky the Nurburgring Nordschleife is my playground and here is my toy:

quick specs: camshafts,SS cats,4.10,380mm 6 pots brembo brakes, recaro seats,and optimized CF delage airbox (selling it by the way ..moving to another CF airbox or supercharger dont know yet..)

hi..since u track a lot, do u feel that your 6 pot and 19'' is better than 4 pot and 18''? dun think the hamanns are that light? but surely your 380 wud make u stop in no time i wud have gotten 380 but went with 355 due to clearance issue with 18''..

you are 100% right. 6 pots + 380mm are really not worth for track on a E46 M3. 4 pots+ 18" are n°1.i would also have picked this setup but i had a real great deal on the 6 pots. I couldnt let it pass . i'm happy of the brakes cause i can stop stop very quickly when over 200km/h with no vibration, no steering wheel shaking..and i can do it as many times as i want in a row it's not a problem..i cant go back to 18" but its Ok, i like long length tracks where handling is more important than acceleration

PS those are HRE not hamman anniversary ones

anyways, what cams do u have? also, with 4.10, what's your max speed, and rpm? i guess u need to get to 3rd to reach 100kmh? really significant improvement in pickup for daily driving? is yours smg/manual?

p/s: looking to do up my mkv gti.. do u have means to bring in parts from germany?

yup i know..i'm kind of multi spokes fan.. like alpina wheels

anyways, what cams do u have?

280/290 12.5

also, with 4.10, what's your max speed, and rpm?

I did 285 km/h on z german highway to the ring..i have the video somewhere...rpm? rpm is just 400-500 rpm higher than normal.

it's useless for daily driving..at 120 km/h car car rpm is quite high...

Just curious - what is your best time on the Nordschleife? And what's the M5 ring taxi's typical time?

Oh, the eating place you're thinking of in Singapore must be Newton Circus...

My time BTG is 8'37, a pro in a stock car does it in 8'22. and the ring taxi does it in 8 i think..

Newton circus!! right that's it.. i miss that please lol together with the air cond in the taxis (smell like fresh rice)+ the bell sound when taxi is speeding too much

no it's just a regular one with some oem CSL parts on it the funny thing is i didnt know the CSL was available when i ordered mine a t the dealer
