This is a photo posted by a guy yesterday who had a 2010 M3 with 18k miles. This is how his bearings looked like. Note that these are newer bearings with the updated part numbers from BMW. Still it failed which is why if there is any failure on the M3's with stock parts, I for one would blame the oil pumps.

All it does is starts with a ticking noise and it gets progressively worse.

If one day should any of the bro's engine is blown, do try to make it like an accident, so can claim insurance. It's easier to claim insurance than claim warranty for sure. :yummie:
