M5 rims wif tyre for swop plus top up.....

Have a set of M5 rims with tyres for swop. Im only looking for 523i stock rims with tyres at least 50% left.

Size of my rim is 19 x 8.5(Front), 19 x 9.5(Rear)
Tyre front is Falken 452, size 245/35/19 about 55% left.
Rear tyre is Bridgestone Re001, size 275/30/19 75% left.
No curb rash.
Looking at $1000 wif swop,Labour on buyer. (Swopping is needed as i dun have spare rim so i wont sell without swop)

Pls note the above deal is a "REPLICA". I had recommended my friend to liase with the seller who bought it thinking it's style M166 OEM M5 rims as he saw the "Germany" imprint behind the spoke. Advise forummer to do their homework on how to differentiate what is authentic M5 OEM style M166 rims or M5 replica (eg, Look out for the BMW wording imprint and code CT FX PU behind the spokes) Else go to reputable shops such as ChinWah/LeongSeng/Hurry to check out with the tyres/rims expert to ascertain the authenticity before commit.

Agreed wif wat the bro say here. Do check before commit n not after. No point to create a issue to the seller as he himself also dun knw. I Tink is important to knw that if oneself make a mistake it should bear for it n not drag others down if the chances given is enough for the buyer to find out if the rim is original or replica. If oneself could not confirm then they should find a expert to verify so the deal will come out to b a gd deal rather to turn into a nasty situation.

You sound like a reasonable person with your reason for selling the imitation M5 rims without knowing that it is an imitation.

So if you are really reasonable, why not consider being truly reasonable to give this poor buddy a 3-days return policy and I am sure he will top up for the cost of removing the tyres, as well as some compensation for the time lost of yours?

This is a good forum with lots of reasonable BMW owners, and your good will will brings you good karma.

I can understand wat u have said. The buyer is ur friend so a buddy is call, whereas I'm just a normal seller over here. Sometime tink both side for a fairer view. Gd karma also will go either side. I tink I will stop here as truth will speak for itself for wat had happen. Just my 2 cents worth, let ur poor buddy knw if next time same tink happen, ask in a proper manner n not tinking by being fierce n let the other party knw wat he is working as will tend to turn the situation around, it might or it might not.

By the way I'm also looking for those shop or company which sell rim n tyre for a trial of 3 days policy. If u have one do let mi knw. Thanks.

I am not the buyer's friend. Definitely not yours too.

Just hoping that the forum will stay healthy with fair deals, as I might be a buyer or seller as well in the near future!

Hope that you are not offended, as the truth is that you have posted your sale with no indication of the "imitation" words anywhere.

Anyway, I am sure you have got rid of your imitation rims with a good price and a good profit..... so you should be satisfied and won't need 3-days trial wheels?

My friend has decided to put the REPLICA M5 rims on the market. His child is due for birth in a month time and his wife felt the 19" ride is a bit harsh. There was a mild slight kerb rash incur by his wife on one of the front 19" M5 REPLICA rims which will be repaired.
