MA Showroom

Has anybody been to MA showroom/workshop lately? There is serious construction going on. Apparently, EuroSports is expanding and taking away a huge chunk of those car park lots for their new showroom. The place is a mess now. Parking is severely limited. It used to be a pleasure to pop-by and have a coffee. May i know if there is any plan in the pipeline to alleviate the situation since the shortage of parking lots is a permanent thing?

Re: MA Showroom

talk about MA...
yes with the construction is going on.. seems congested.
anyway i was quite impressed a year or two ago.. when i popped in for service this year just last week, (yes i send my car in once a year when those service lights go amber...)
i was disappointed. "alexandra" mentality creeping in... sigh!
looks like there is management change in the service area. all new faces. none of whom i could relate too now..

Re: MA Showroom

I think the Service side Boss is still the same no? Sebastian?

Re: MA Showroom

Think MA is turning the service centre into an M Performance showroom... not sure what's gonna happen with the service side.

Dunno about you guys but I won't mind if ES parks some Paganis next door :yummie:

Was there this week, the previous service/parts area is just being shifted further back, allowing more space upfront near the entrance. The frontal area where previous was for parking, still under construction.

I have not encountered any lapses in service so far. I am just concerned about the serious lack of parking lots. I am ok with them moving their sections around and making space for M Perf vehicles, but please do something about the parking situation. How abt moving to Leng Kee :D

The worst part is that those lots taken away are being converted into a new showroom, so we can kiss them goodbye :( That means no more events at the showroom...

next yr is gona b v tough for sg car sales due to reduced quota & rising coe so everyone fighting tooth n nail to get sales. will b a big fight amongst luxury dealers as this will b d active segment as smaller new cars not attractive in high coe period. Many predicting 2014 onwards will b car sales slowdown due to combo of scrapping n high coe so their sales strategy is clearly to make as much $ next yr before something bad happens

MA Showroom

Dear All,

Yes, we recognized that the parking situation is currently limited. The construction in front of our showroom when completed next year, will have offices on the 2nd Floor but the ground floor will continue to be our car park space, only now it will be sheltered.

And to alleviate as best as we can, given the situation, we have relocated all staff parking areas and minimize the footprint of our demo vehicles to allow more empty lots for our esteemed customers. This arrangement will be in effect from tomorrow.

Please do contact me if you any other feedback. Thank you so very much of your generous support, patience and kind understanding.

That would be good.. Else I go there buy stuff etc, got fear of car getting banged given the tight space.. I had to park by the gate just now..

Re: MA Showroom

Thanks for the clarification, Hendra! Glad those lots will remain after the construction. I was told that it would be gone. At least now i know it's a short term pain :)
