The company has unveiled the 2011 MC Stradale which is described as the "fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range." Drawing inspiration from the Trofeo GranTurismo MC, the Stradale features an aerodynamic body kit, high performance brakes, and a revised suspension for "razor-sharp handling."
Power is provided by a 4.7-liter V8 with 450 hp (336 kW / 457 PS). It enables the car to hit a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph).
More information will be released later this month, so stay tuned for continuing coverage.

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

Wow this is amazing.
What is the estimated price of it here in Singapore?

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

The standard GT is 1.8 tons. I wonder how are they gonna shave 400-500 kg. There was no mention of the weight of the GT MC Trofeo as well.....

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

yes pay more for less

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

It's about S$555k. There're only limited numbers. So quickly go and buy them up.

Nice car! Looks way more aggressive than the normal version

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

Congrats. She's a screamer.

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

For that kind of price range, a Used F430 or baby Lambo make more sense. Mid engine configuration and already lighter car to begin with.
Unless you really need to sit 4 persons than no choice.

Well if you are thinking along those lines, then the M3 GTS is stupidly priced.
I was thinking at this price, this car makes heck alot more sense than the M3 GTS at 600k odd. Its R8 V10 territory for price.
Given the prices of these 2 cars, I would most certainly opt for the Maserati if given a choice. Ferraris and Lambos may possibly make more sense but most in the market who considers these 2 cars mainly uses them as DD so its hard to compare this way in which case the Ferrari and Lambos are impossible to drive daily. These cars uses you as the suspension and it's hard to live by on a daily basis. Only a handful can do this.

Lets compare this.

Baseline M3 - ~ $380,000
M3 GTS ~ $600,000

Price Difference - ~ $220,000

Baseline Maserati ~ $430,000 if I am not mistaken
Maserati Challenge Stradale - $530,000

Price Difference - ~ $100,000

My only comparison is based on price point alone.
M3 GTS pricing is crazy, I will just buy a 911 GT3 RS period.

To each his own, just stating what I will do with $550k budget. :-D

On the price variable alone, then yes many cars we can get at that level including 2nd hand.
M3 GTS price, might as well get a V10 R8. Or a 997 GT3 RS which still is faster than an M3 GTS and cheaper.
Not to mention, far better resale for the Porsche compared to the BMW.

this makes sense. in this price range u hv the porkys n the R8s. lets just talk about new cars la. if u wanna go used...then plenty to argue about.

da maser is still a maser. cant go wrong on the badge, even if u wanna pluck the R8 to play here. where as the Gt3 is manual...

Re: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

Maser is still da shite! Sexy lines, seductive exhaust note.
